PT: Inédito em Portugal, uma oportunidade única que dificilmente se voltará a repetir e para além do mais GRATUITA! Vamos ter um expert em WCS, Campeão Mundial a dar formação no centro de Lisboa! Serão 30 Minutos de Bases de WCS, seguido de mais vocabulário e prática. Novamente a Academia Danças do Mundo na vanguarda do ensino, qualidade e divulgação da dança numa co-organização com o grupo "West Coast Swing Lisbon"!
ENG: Doug Silton is travelling through Portugal and has offered to provide a special workshop here at Academia Danças do Mundo, for FREE. He is excited to help build the love and passion for West Coast Swing in Portugal, building on the basics that Sonya Dessureault provided us.
The class will offer:
- 30 minute review of the basic steps and ideas of WCS
- 1.5 hours building on the basics, adding more patterns and concepts to your WCS
- 1 hour social time to practice your moves
This opportunity is provided as a joint venture between "Academia Danças do Mundo" and "West Coast Swing Lisbon".
Doug Silton
Doug is a top competitor and judge on the NASDE West Coast Swing tour, a 3-time American Lindy Hop and Blues Champion, and a 2-Time World Swing Dance Champion. Doug is the only competitor to ever be a finalist in Lindy Hop, West Coast Swing, and Carolina Shag in the same year at the US Open Swing Dance Championships.
Doug is also a World Swing Dance Championships Salsa Champion and Reno Dance Sensation Salsa Champion. In May of 2008, he made it to the final round at the Mayan Pro Salsa Competition, the second largest street Salsa competition in the world, placing 8th.
